Maidstone United manager Peter Nott faced with long injury list

Maidstone manager Peter Nott faces selection problems ahead of Saturday's Ryman League Premier Division game at home to Cray.

Danny Hockton, who suffered a groin strain in the goalless draw at Sutton last Saturday, Craig Stone (ankle) and Dean Hernandez-Bradshaw (hip) are all doubtful, while Nathan Paul (knee) and Tom Parkinson (groin) are set for a further two weeks on the sidelines.

New signing from Welling Chris Saunders is expected to miss two weeks with a foot injury, and will also face a ban after being dismissed on his debut at Sutton.

Nott (pictured) said: "We knew it would be a tough week, against Sutton and Dartford (Tuesday), and it has put us back into the mix."

"Saturday is a massive game and the players will be up for it. It is a Kent derby and both teams know how important it is. We cannot afford to be complacent, we have got to start picking up points.

"A win would mean I would enjoy my Saturday night a lot more, but whatever happens, there is a long way to go this season."
