Tonbridge Angels expected to have a reduced playing budget in Blue Square South next season

Tonbridge manager Tommy Warrilow
already knows he will be working with a reduced budget next
season.
However, the Angels boss
(pictured) is refusing to allow that fact to diminish any of
his satisfaction at Angels’ highly-creditable first campaign in
Blue Square Bet South.
Victory at Boreham Wood on
Saturday will secure an eighth-place finish and Warrilow believes
his side have built a strong platform for next season, even though
he will have less money to play with.
He said: "I have had a chat with
(chairman) Steve Churcher and we are going to have to reduce the
budget a little bit next season.
"We’ve found out a few things
this year cost-wise which were new to us, and I said to Steve I
would rather he gave me a figure which we can sustain for 38 weeks
rather than one that we can’t."
Midfielder Lee Browning is
suspended for the trip to Boreham Wood, who need a point from
tomorrow’s game to clinch eighth place at Angels’
expense.
