Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow finds ally in Dartford boss Tony Burman ahead of sides' FA Trophy clash

by Craig Tucker
Rival managers Tommy Warrilow and Tony Burman have been putting
the world to rights ahead of Tonbridge’s FA Trophy second-round tie
at Dartford on Saturday.
Angels boss Warrilow and Darts chief Burman are friends off the
pitch and had plenty to talk about after recent dips in league
form.
Warrilow, pictured, said: "We both want to win on Saturday
but we’re good mates and it was nice to have a chat and cheer each
other up.
"You lose a couple of games these days and people go way over
the top. We put things into perspective."
Angels lost 1-0 at Basingstoke last weekend and sit 16th in Blue
Square Bet South, two points off the drop zone but only seven
adrift of a play-off place.
Darts have lost their last three league games but are still
sixth in their debut season in Blue Square Bet Premier.
Warrilow said: "If we get ourselves right we can give anyone a
run for their money. We’re striving to get where they are as a
club and we go there full of respect for them, but if we play to
our potential we can win."
