Eastleigh 1 Tonbridge Angels 2

Tonbridge Angels produced a stunning late comeback to record
a win at Eastleigh in Blue Square Bet South on Tuesday
night.
It was Angels' fourth win in five league games and left
them 10 points off the play-off places in eighth.
Rory Hill and Chris Piper lashed chances over for the visitors
while Bradley Bubb fired narrowly wide at the other end.
Ben Judge was forced off injured, with Danny Walder replacing
him despite carrying a knock himself, but Angels continued to press
and Piper saw another shot tipped over by Jack Dovey.
Frannie Collin was inches away from converting a Nathan
Koranteng cross while Mike Suarez fired inches wide after a melee
in the Eastleigh box and Piper sent a half-volley just wide of the
post.
Keeper Lee Worgan kept the deadlock intact just before the break
with an amazing reflex save to deny Bubb from close range after a
pull-back from Lee Peacock.
The hosts took the lead within five minutes of the restart when
a long-ball caught the Angels defence out and Bubb outmuscled Sonny
Miles before slotting low past Worgan.
Hill saw a long-range effort held by Dovey and Worgan denied
Chris Flood at the other end before Suarez won a penalty on the
hour after being held in the box by Gary Elphick, only for Collin
to smash against the bar.
Collin almost repeated the trick from a free-kick moments later
but the Angels did get back on terms nine minutes from time when
Piper sent Collin through and the striker's cut-back across the
face of goal was blocked by a defender, only for Suarez to convert
the rebound.
Angels poured forward in search of a winner and it eventually
arrived in stunning fashion four minutes into injury-time when Lee
Browning (pictured) exchanged passes with Piper and burst into
the box before poking past Dovey.
