Tonbridge Angels 1 AFC Hornchurch 0

Chris Piper

Striker Mikel Suarez made his Tonbridge comeback in a 1-0 home victory against AFC Hornchurch on Tuesday night.

Suarez, who'd been on loan at Hastings after recovering from his career-threatening head injury, was a surprise starter as Tommy Warrilow's Angels side ended their run
of three straight defeats in Blue Square Bet South.

Chris Piper, pictured, scored the only goal of the game with a penalty in the last minute of the first half.

The win lifts Angels to 13th place in the table, seven points adrift of the play-offs and five clear of the relegation zone.
