Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow wants fans to get behind the team for crucial clash

Tommy Warrilow has called on Tonbridge fans to get behind his
players as they face the crucial visit of fellow-strugglers
Eastbourne on Saturday.
Last weekend's game at Chelmsford was washed out but Tuesday’s
4-1 reverse – Tonbridge’s sixth loss in seven games – at
title-chasing Welling left Angels 18th in Blue Square Bet South,
just four points ahead of second-bottom Billericay, having played
more games.
Eastbourne are 19th and Warrilow (pictured) admitted: "I don’t
want to build the game up too much but we’ve still got to play the
four teams below us and have to look to win those to get us out of
the rut we’re in.
"I want the fans to come along but just aim their criticism at
me and let the lads get on with it and get behind them. We need
everyone on board."
With centre-backs Ollie Schulz and Gary Elphick suspended,
Warrilow paired on-loan Stevenage defender Anthony
Sinclair-Furlonge with Sonny Miles at the back against Welling,
while Gills loanee Ashley Miller came in out wide.
Warrilow said: "Welling were just stronger than us on the night.
I was disappointed with the result and we had a couple of chances
we didn’t take but they are top of the league for a reason."
Schulz returns from suspension for the visit of Eastleigh on
Tuesday but defensive partner Elphick is banned for both games.
