Tonbridge Angels travel to Bath City in the Skrill South
Tonbridge will go on the offensive when their unbeaten run in The Skrill South gets put to the test at Bath City on Saturday.
Two wins and a draw from their last three games have lifted the Angels into mid-table and manager Tommy Warrilow isn’t looking simply to avoid defeat in the West Country.
He said: “I never set up to draw, I set up to win every game.
“Every team will have patches of goodness in a game and if we take the chances we create, we can win at Bath.
“They had a good draw at Ebbsfleet (on Saturday) but if we do our jobs and work hard as a team, we’ll be fine.”
After three straight defeats at the start of the season, the mood at Longmead has lifted.
Warrilow said: “I’m happy with how the players have turned it round. They’ve shown a lot of character because there was a lot of negativity around after the first week. This is a new team and it takes a while for things to gel.
“We’ve turned the corner a little bit and we need to continue that. Suddenly everything becomes more enjoyable.”
