MP Damian Green gets in Glastonbury spirit

Damian Green at Glastonbury

Ashford MP Damian Green joined 177,000 other music lovers in the mud at Glastonbury festival at the weekend.

Mr Green and his wife Alicia were protected from night-time downpours by a camper van rather than a tent, and Mr Green kept in touch with work via email and mobile phone.

The couple went to the festival without their teenage daughters, who were at school. It was the pair’s second Glastonbury festival, with their previous trip being in 2007.

However, there was one place he wasn't allowed - a tent warning 'No MPs' at its entrance.'No MPs' tent at Glastonbury
