Man arrested following drug raids in Ashford

Police carried out drugs raids on two addresses in Ashford
yesterday.
The swoops took place in the town centre and Willesborough at
1.30pm after local residents had alerted police.
A quantity of cash, cannabis and drugs paraphernalia was
seized.
South Kent Police spokesman Rosy Alexander said: "Ashford
Neighbourhood Task Team conducted a warrant on two addresses
following information from concerned residents."
Officers now say a 22-year-old local man was arrested and
subsequently bailed pending further enquiries until March 3.
