Man robbed in park

Kent Police hynt robbersA dog walker was robbed by three men in a popular Ashford park.

Ashford police are appealing for witnesses following the robbery in Victoria Park on March 2 between 2.45pm and 3.10pm.

A 32-year-old man was walking his dog in the park, when he was approached from behind by three men, who demanded cash.

The man handed over his wallet, and the three men made off in the direction of flats bordering the park.

One of the offenders is described as white, aged 30-40, proportionate build, wearing blue jeans, and a dark tracksuit jacket top. He spoke with an eastern European accent, possibly Polish.

Det Con Darren Brough said: "I would like to speak to anyone who was in the park during the time frame of the incident."
