Denise Van Outen criticises East Kent Health Trust in breastfeeding row

Denise van OutenTV star Denise Van Outen has criticised a Kent health trust after staff wrote to encourage her to carry on breastfeeding her baby daughter.

The star, who lives just outside Ashford, was also sent a pro-breastfeeding mug when it was reported she had moved onto bottle feeding after three weeks.

Stage actress Denise, 36, said the letter also claimed her husband, Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead, should do more to help her out.

She told Twitter followers her baby, Betsy, was very healthy.

NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent has apologised to Denise and actor husband Lee Mead, saying 'they are obviously great parents and they wish them all the best for the future.'
