Woman kicked in head during Folkestone bus station fracas

A woman was kicked in the head a suffered a cut eye after a mass fight erupted.

She was taken to hospital after the fracas between a group of men and women at Folkestone bus station.

Police were called to the station and a Kent spokesman said: “Two men were walking through the bus station when they are reported to have become involved in a disturbance with the group.

“One of the women is understood to have been kicked in the side of the head causing a cut to her eye.”

She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for treatment.

The incident happened at about 2.15pm on Tuesday, November 13.

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of actual bodily harm and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of common assault.

Both have been bailed until December 17 pending further inquiries.

Police are seeking witnesses who should contact PC Paul Parkington at Kent Police on 101.
