Man's jaw broken in New Romney pub attack
Police are seeking witnesses after a man’s jaw was broken in a
pub attack.
The victim needed surgery after he was punched in New Romney
High Street.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “The victim had been drinking
with
friends and the pub was particularly busy.
“He remembers laughing and joking when another man punched him
in the mouth.”
The thug then ran out of the pub, possibly taking a left turn
down the
High Street.
The offenced happened at around 11.30pm on Friday, December
21.
The victim was treated at the scene but was later taken to
hospital where it was discovered he had a broken jaw and required
surgery.
The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall with
short
dark brown hair. He was wearing a light pink, possibly white,
chequered
shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.
