Ashford father makes ''Bridezilla' snow sculpture

John Glendinning with his Bridezilla snow sculpture, based on his fiance

A dad used his impressive skills to sculpt a ‘Bridezilla’ out of the snow – modelled on his fiancé of three years!

John Glendinning, 29, of Church Road, Ashford, spent six hours in his garden building his snow bride.

Fiancé Tracey Laws, 34, pictured with John below, said: “John always tries to make some sort of sculpture.

"Last year he made a dinosaur.

"He asked me what to make and I suggested a bride as we are getting married in June."Engaged couple Tracey Laws and John Glendinning - John made a Bridezilla snow sculpture based on his fiance

She added: “He did well with the dress but has made the head quite scary – he says it’s because I‘m turning into Bridezilla!”

The couple’s six-year-old son, Lewis, helped his dad by collecting snow in a wheelbarrow.

When the bride was complete, John says he then attempted to build a snow groom but unfortunately ran out of useable snow, so the second sculpture to complete the happy snow couple went unfinished.

Rather than typical snowman     attire, the snow bride was decorated with Tracey’s hair extensions, a pearl necklace and a red bouquet.
