Police warn motorists over nuisance driving

Police are warning nuisance
motorists that their behaviour will not be tolerated, as more snow
is expected to fall across the county this evening
(Friday).
The warning comes as Kent
Police responded to a number of reports of nuisance behaviour
during last weekend’s snow fall.
In Ashford, officers are
investigating after reports were received of a vehicle "skidding
around" a car park in Tannery Lane, at about 10.45pm, on Sunday,
January 20.
Sergeant Chris Hughes said:
"Anyone considering purposely skidding their vehicles or performing
doughnut manoeuvres in snow and icy conditions should think
again.
"Not only is this nuisance
behaviour a driving offence, but it is dangerous and someone could
get seriously injured or even killed.
"Motorists found to be
causing a nuisance could face having their vehicle seized and
issued a fine, or even appear before magistrates."
