Hythe Town boss Scott Porter says his side are peaking at the right time

by Andrew Gidley
Scott Porter wants to put a
dent in Dulwich Hamlet’s Ryman League, Division 1 South title
challenge when the south London club visit Reachfields on
Saturday.
Hythe enjoyed a 2-0 success at
Champion Hill in October and boss Porter is looking to complete the
double, to maintain his own team’s play-off challenge, as they
continue to peak just at the right time.
Hamlet returned to form with a 3-1
win against Sittingbourne on Saturday, after slipping to a surprise
defeat by the same score at Merstham last week.
Town boss Porter said: "We will
look to upset them, they don’t like playing against us.
"Winning up there was a great
result but this time there is no pressure on us. We will go out and
try to spoil their day, there is no love lost there."
Brendon Cass ended an excellent
week for the club, scoring the winner at Leatherhead for the third
successive game and Porter was delighted.
He said: "Our recent run has been
great, everybody is pulling together now, whereas everyone was
playing as individuals during our bad patch. We have gone back to
basics but are peaking at the right time."
