More than before: Your favourite free newspaper

More than before. That’s the philosophy behind the latest changes to your favourite free newspaper - the Canterbury Extra, Whitstable Extra and Herne Bay Extra.

We have listened to our readers and advertisers who have not been able to get enough of their new-look Extra since it was launched at the start of May.

To make them happy, we have decided to increase our current print Herne Bay Extra front pagerun so we can put even more copies through the letterbox.

We have added more pages to bring you even more of the news that you choose.

On top of that, readers in Whitstable and Herne Bay now have their own dedicated front page for the news that matters to them.

Extra editor Leo Whitlock said: "What goes in the Extra is driven by you - the stories you click on at the Extra’s sister website kentishgazette.co.uk, the stories you are talking about from the Extra’s sister paid-for newspaper, the Gazette, and what you are talking about on the Extra’s sister radio station kmfm."

The Extra is a fantastic way to promote your business especially when youWhitstable Extra front page combine it with the KM Group’s paid-for newspapers, its websites and its kmfm radio stations.

Commercial manager Kevin Barry said: "The changes we are making are the best demonstration yet that free newspapers play a big part in our media portfolio.

"They are an essential plank of our multi-media packages and these are helping advertisers connect with their customers week in and week out."
