New Dover Road in Canterbury shut after crash involving recovery truck carrying police car

A main road into Canterbury was shut when
a Nissan Micra crashed with a recovery truck carrying a
police car.
Kent Police were called to the smash near the A2 junction
in New Dover Road this afternoon.
Officers closed the road at about midday.
One of the drivers is reported to have suffered minor
injuries.
