Car crashes into house during police chase in Herne Bay
The VW Golf crashed
into a house in Herne Bay

This is the dramatic scene after a car ploughed into a
house during a police chase in Herne Bay.
The blue VW Golf demolished a shed before careering into the
weatherboard property in Canterbury Road.
A police helicopter has been searching for two
suspects believed to have fled the car. One man was arrested and is
in police custody.
The crash happened shortly before 2pm after the car failed to
stop for police in Mortimer Street.

Canterbury Road was closed at the Eddington roundabout
while officers deal with the incident.
