Missing Chihuahua Otis reunited with ecstatic owner in London two weeks after disappearing from Herne Bay
The owner of a Chiuhuahua which disappeared from Herne Bay almost two weeks ago has been reunited with her beloved pet – 80 miles away in London.
Izzy Chase-Philmore feared she’d never see tiny Otis again when he went missing from Kings Road on September 26.
Otis was found after a huge serach
A huge search effort and social media campaign – which has seen Otis’s face plastered on posters across Kent and on thousands of Facebook statuses – looked to have been fruitless.
But at just before 4.50am today the five-year-old was back in a delighted Izzy’s arms.
Details of where he was found are not yet clear, but the 29-year-old singer wrote on Facebook: “OTIS IS HOME! OTIS IS HOME! OTIS IS HOME!!!!!

“It's 4.50am and we've just got back from collecting him from Central London. He's running around and happy and has got his favourite toys out of his bed to play with.
“I can't go into full details yet but 3 amazing women have made this happen tonight, which wouldn't have been possible without all of you sharing this page, putting up posters and spreading the word.
“We are so lucky to have him home and words quite honestly can't describe how happy and how thankful we are for everyone's support, efforts, love and belief that we would find him.”
She added the first stop for Otis would be a trip to the vets for a check-up.
There had been a number of sightings of a dog matching Otis's description, most recently in Ramsgate.
