Alex Day's defiant 75 batting at
No.7 proved enough to help St Lawrence & Highland Court to
victory at Sevenoaks Vine in the Premier Division.
Saints were dismissed for 186
before Day, Lewis Jenkins and Charlie Hemphrey took three wickets
each to dismiss the home side eight runs short of their target.
Canterbury were left frustrated as
an incomplete game against Orpington left them level on points with
the Division 1 relegation zone.
Matthew Jenkinson hit 68 of the
home side’s 211-5 before play was stopped by rain with the game
finely poised with the visitors on 154-4 from 37 overs.
