Interim Oystermen boss Richard
Langley faces an injury-crisis ahead of Town’s trip to fellow
strugglers Tooting & Mitcham on Saturday.
In the first game since Langley and
Nicky Southall took over the reins from departed manager Justin
Luchford, Town stopped the rot with a 1-0 win over Chipstead on
Saturday and will look to overhaul Tooting with victory on
Saturday.
Langley (pictured) said: "It
would be good to go there and get an unbeaten run going. It won’t
be easy, though. They are no mugs on their own patch and especially
as we’ve only got 12 of our squad of 16 fit – and two of them are
keepers."
Jimmy Dryden and Shane Hamshare
were joined on the treatment table by Jake Beecroft (hamstring) and
James Morrish (ankle) in Tuesday night’s 2-0 League Cup defeat to
Maidstone.
Langley said: "We have got Rob
Gilman back from suspension, and Nicky is fit again but we’re going
to have to see what our reserve players can do."
One of those who could figure is
18-year-old former Maidstone youngster Bitteng Guila who impressed
against his former club on Tuesday.
