Walderslade burglar still not been caught

Doug and Veronica Quipp
were traumatised by a burglary caught on CCTV
A burglar who spent two
hours ransacking a home while a family were asleep
upstairs has still not been caught.
A month after Veronica and Doug
Quipp’s home in Walderslade was burgled, no arrests have been
made.
The offender was captured on CCTV rifling through their home in
Birkhall Close for almost two hours.
He stole precious jewellery, laptops, credit
cards and even a school backpack during the raid on Tuesday,
January 29.
The CCTV footage shows the criminal
entered the property just before 5am and did not leave until just
before 7am.
He even took drinks from the fridge and, after stealing a pack
of cigarettes, stopped to smoke one on the driveway before getting
into the family car and driving away.
The Ford Galaxy, was later discovered burnt out in a field
opposite Fitness First in Walderslade Road.
Anyone with information is asked to
call DC Daniel Bister at Kent Police on 101 and quote reference
