Locals have told of their shock after two people were found dead
in a farmhouse at a quiet village near Ashford.
Police were called to what they describe as a domestic incident
at Brockham Farmhouse in Brabourne Lees at 7.40pm yesterday.

They found bodies of a middle-aged man and woman, believed to be
Martin and Janet Jones. Officers also recovered two shotguns
at the scene.
The bodies had been discovered by two relatives earlier. Ch
Insp John Frayne, district commander for Ashford, said the
relatives had had to break into the property.
"Police cars were flying down the road. They carried on
going until 9 o'clock," says Leah MacDonald, who was working in the
local pub the Plough Inn.
The farmhouse is in a secluded country lane about half a mile
from Brabourne Lees village centre.
It is set in its own land with nothing else around it.
"No-one seems to know who they are," said local William
Davis. "It's a gorgeous little village...we all get on
exceedingly well."
A post-mortem inspection is expected to take place either today
or tomorrow.
