The parents of a three-year-old girl tragically killed in a car park have told of their grief.

Amber Whyte was getting out of her mother's car at Russell House School in Oftord earlier today when it appears to have rolled backwards, trapping her against a gatepost.

Jacqui and Luke Whyte, Amber's parents, said:

"Amber is a wonderful happy little girl and we can’t believe she’s not with us anymore.

"We love her with all our hearts and we her parents and her sister Melody will never get over this tragedy.

“Amber is three-and-a-half and she went to a day nursery in Kemsing and Russell House pre-school."

A post mortem examination will be held next week and it is expected that an inquest will be opened and adjourned.

was in folkestone to day, there was a young child no older than 3 running back and forth across a road her brave father was standing in his door way getting the child to run things to his car which was parked acrossed the other side of the road, is it his life or hers? he never gave a shit what happened to that child, these people dont deserve kids, and yet they would be the first to sue the driver, although the driver would of not seen her as she was so small.
