Three year old dies in crash

The parents of a three-year-old girl tragically killed in a car
park have told of their grief.
Amber Whyte was getting out of her mother's car at Russell House
School in Oftord earlier today when it appears to have rolled
backwards, trapping her against a gatepost.
Jacqui and Luke Whyte, Amber's parents, said:
"Amber is a wonderful happy little girl and we
can’t believe she’s not with us anymore.
"We love her with all our hearts and we her
parents and her sister Melody will never get over this tragedy.
“Amber is three-and-a-half and she went to a
day nursery in Kemsing and Russell House pre-school."
A post mortem examination will be held next
week and it is expected that an inquest will be opened and
adjourned.
