A 43-year-old builder is due in court charged with murder after the discovery of a woman's body in a house at Greatstone.

Paul Fender, of The Parade in the village, is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court later today.

The body of 28-year-old Karren Martin was found at an address in Hardy Road at around 10am Friday.

A post mortem carried out on Saturday revealed she died as a result of a single stab wound.
