Rochester roof has collapsed

Roof collapsed in High Street, Rochester Police sealed off a road today after the roof of a derelict building in Rochester collapsed.

Firefighters and police are currently at the scene of the incident in the High Street, after the roof fell in shortly before 4pm.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service informed us that they were currently dealing with an incident where a roof has collapsed on an old building.

"We have no reports of anyone being trapped inside."
