A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and released on bail after a
schoolboy was stabbed at a recreation ground.
The injured youngster was airlifted to hospital after the
incident in Westmeads Road, Whitstable just after 4pm
yesterday.

The air ambulance took the teenager, believed to be local, to
hospital.
Officers were still at the scene last night.
Police spokesman Richard Allen said: "The investigation is
ongoing."
Witnesses say the youngster had been stabbed in the stomach but
police refused to confirm this.
