Schoolboy 'stabbed' Whitstable attack

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and released on bail after a schoolboy was stabbed at a recreation ground.

The injured youngster was airlifted to hospital after the incident in Westmeads Road, Whitstable just after 4pm yesterday.

The air ambulance leaves the scene in Westmeads Road, Whitstable

The air ambulance took the teenager, believed to be local, to hospital.

Officers were still at the scene last night.

Police spokesman Richard Allen said: "The investigation is ongoing."

Witnesses say the youngster had been stabbed in the stomach but police refused to confirm this.

    These children are being left to run riot with, fights, bullying, beating, jumping each other and thats just in Community College Whitstable!! Someone should look closely at whats actually going on in that school and the lack of action taken by the staff, no reply to letters written and blatent ingnorance.Just look on facebook for clarification!! Unfortunately and sadly this was an inevitable escalation of what happens in CCW school. I sympathise with all concerned, wish paul a speedy recovery and hope that all these teenagers STOP AND THINK.
