Woman taken to hospital after crash on the A257 at Shatterling, near Canterbury

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A257 at Shatterling, near Canterbury.

Her car left the road at around 7.30am on Saturday and ended up on its roof in a hedge.

Kent Police closed the A257 between Wingham and Ash for several hours but the road was reopened at around midday.

The woman's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

No other vehicles were involved.
