Fly the flag for England

The World Cup countdown is officially on! In just a few days' time the country will be united in euphoria or grief.

So where will YOU be spending your nail-biting 90 minutes?

Got a favourite pub that's putting the game on in widescreen?

Perhaps you're a landlord who's invested in 3D TV for the matches? Have you got a special World Cup brew? Any weird superstitions or lucky mascots that are hanging from the pub ceiling?

England's matches in the World Cup 2010

Your guide to England's matches

Tell KentOnline and kmfm what you're up to from June 11 and we could be coming to cheer on England with you each time our boys play.

Also, help us celebrate the World Cup in style. Why not:

  • Send us your pictures - to countynews2@thekmgroup.co.uk of you and your mates celebrating
  • Tell us if your home, car or workplace is the most England-decorated in Kent. Again, picture evidence please, to countynews2@thekmgroup.co.uk
  • Have you penned a little ditty, poem or song of your hopes and aspirations for the world cup? Send them again to the email address above.

Most of all, invite us to share your joy and agony at your local. If you want your favourite pub videoed for KentOnline, either ring the Kentonline team on 01634 227800 or email us at countynews2@thekmgroup.co.uk telling us why we should come to your pub.

I will be booking a restaurant table for my wife and I at EXACTLY the same time as the start of the World Cup Final. We can then look forward to an enjoyable evening AWAY from football.

I'm looking forward to the England v USA game, as I have a long car journey to make on Saturday, and the motorways should be pretty empty.

I will be painting my face with the cross of St George, then painting the house with the cross of St George. Once that is done, I am also looking forward to spending all day attaching flags to my car so that it looks like a visiting ambassador's.

Then looking forward to watching the game in the pub, drinking too much cheap lager, having the odd fight with someone who looks like they are supporting the opposition, or not wearing anything with the cross of St George on it. Inevitably ending the night sleeping in a doorway with a kebab for company!
