Three farmers have bared all to prove their short and caulies
are top of the crops when it comes to supporting England.
Lewis Spencer joined brothers Mark and John Harris in stripping
off to promote locally-grown produce.
The trio pulled the cheesy cauliflower stunt at Broadditch
farm shop, in Southfleet, to rally support for struggling
farmers.
They posed in a field with little more than a smile and the
patriotic veg – decorated to support England’s World Cup bid – to
preserve their modesty.
Mark, 41, said: “I’m not sure modelling is really our forte –
we’re going to stick to the day jobs! Besides, we’re normally busy
enough on the farm.
“But it’s a light-hearted way of promoting a serious issue. If
it puts a smile on people’s faces then even better.”

The 500-acre Manor Farm has been in the Harris family for more
than 150 years.
Sixth-generation owners Mark – who has children Abbie,
eight, and Charlie, four, with wife Lisa – and 44-year-old John –
who has children Caitlin, 13, and Lucy, 11, with wife Rebecca –
have been running its shop for 20 years.
They sell produce grown on the farm and by other local farmers
as well as hosting family events and school tours.
Now they hope the cheeky picture, taken by farm officer worker
Kirsty Cripps, will promote buying locally-farmed goods.
Mark said: “What we pick from our farm goes in the shop the same
day.
“You can’t get any fresher than that. And because we have lower
overheads than the big shops, we can often sell our food
cheaper.”
Manor Farm is throwing open its gates to the public for Open
Farm Sunday this weekend.
Visitors to the New Barn Road, Southfleet, venue will be able to
tour the farm, help pick crops as well as feed chickens and
lambs.
