Body on Dover beach identified as Paul Davies of Paddock Wood

Paul Anthony DaviesA body found on a Kent beach at the weekend has been identified.

Police have confirmed that the body found on the foreshore at st Margaret's Bay, between Deal and Dover, was that of 62-year-old Paul Davies, of Paddock Wood.

Dover Lifeboat crew were called out on Sunday, March 7, after the body was spotted.

Police in West Kent had been searching for Mr Davies, who had not been seen since March 1.

Kent Police has thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance with the incident.
