Sittingbourne magistrates court

A 32-year-old man appeared in court today charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Eastchurch last week.

Robert Griffin, of Sea View Gardens in Warden, has been remanded in custody until Monday March 29, to appear at Maidstone Crown Court.

He has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Two other men, from Sheerness, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident and released on police bail.
