David Cameron visits Medway
Comments |
Tory leader David Cameron met workers at a gas plant in
Medway this morning.
The politician, who was making his second visit to the Towns
this year, toured the LNG terminal in Grain.
He was launching the Conservative Party's Energy Security Green
Paper.
After being taken round the plant Mr Cameron met workers in the
canteen, who were given the chance to ask him questions.
Rochester and Strood parliamentary candidate Mark Reckless
accompanied the leader on his visit.
Following the visit to the gas plant Mr Cameron briefly
went to Winchester House Nursing Home in Rochester to meet
residents.
In January Mr Cameron visited the Sunlight Centre in Gillingham.
On that trip he said: "This is a vital battleground and
you'll be seeing me around here again."
