I'm not a scrounger

Anita Hull

A mum of 13 has hit out at people "judging her" after her life on benefits was featured in the national press.Anita Hull

Anita Hull, of Noreen Avenue, Minster, says since the story broke, she has been abused on Facebook and her kids called "scroungers".

The 38-year-old wants people to know she doesn't spend her money on luxuries and wants to return to work.

Anita, who lives with partner of 22 years, Steve Dalton, says she thought she was being featured in a story about big families.

But when it appeared, it wrongly said she has spent her benefit cash on a 60-inch television and a swimming pool.

Honestly - Neil and your mate Mech, a little subtlety is wasted on you. Read it again carefully... Then think about it, then get offended. For everybody else who got it- your welcome. As much as id love to sit here swapping insults, ive got work to do. Ciao

Love the large flat screen T.V and the claim they don't spend money on luxuries, its amazing how a 60 inch tv isnt a luxury, oh yes, they're not paying for it..... and then these people are suprised when the ordinary, working, tax paying public turn against them. If the sum total of your ambition is to be able to survive without working then some form of chemical castration is in order, i mean what exactly are you contributing to society, look at Neil Boyo, that is the offspring they are producing, destined to be a lifetimes drain on the NHS, Police and most probably prisons

13 kids - 13 more scroungers in the future. What role model is she to her family. The Government is taking from hard working people daily (ie child benefit stopping etc) yet people like this don't care. Bet she has never worked a day in her life. Oh, not married either is that so they can both claim benefits as single people as well.

As a tax payer, Neil Boyo's comments are pathetic. Having 14 children is irresponsible and incredible expensive. Why should i pay for your off spring when you are too lazy / stupid to pay for them your self. As for calling people mugs for working, i like holidays and fast cars rather than looking forward to getting drunk on cheap cider on some street corner.
Grow up, get a job and a get a life.

    I agree with Lynn.

Neil's comment says it all really. What sort of society are we living in?

The fact that Neil feels that it is ok to just sit and let the Government support the family, means that as soon as he is able, he will follow family tradition and let us keep him and how ever many children he decides to have. Doubtless bringing them up to think that violence is the solution to all problems.

Benefits should only be paid for the first two children - if people want to have more, fine, but why should I pay for them?

What happened to good old fashioned self respect and respect for others?
