Two women hurt in Canterbury smash

A woman has been cut free from a car today after it crashed into a tree.

Police said the passenger suffered a suspected fractured pelvis and leg.

The female driver of the Ford Ka has head injuries.

The incident happened just before 8.30am in Broadoak Hill in Canterbury.

Both victims have been taken to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford by land ambulance.

The road remains closed.
