Appeal for missing man

Pavel BenakPolice are appealing for information about a man who has been missing since July and may be in Kent.

Pavel Benak, a 50 year-old man originally from the Czech Republic, was last seen at his home in Stratford Road, Birmingham, at around 10am on Friday July 23.

He told his family he was going to visit his cousin, and has not been seen since.

Mr Benak is described as a white male, around five feet seven inches tall with a stocky build, and bald or greying hair. When last seen he was wearing pale blue jeans, a white shirt and brown shoes.

Police say it is believed that he could be in the Dover area.

Anybody who knows of Mr Benak's whereabouts, or has seen a man matching his description is asked to contact Stechford police station on 0345 113 5000.
