Top Gear and The Sweeney filmed on the Isle of Sheppey

Crews film a car chase for The Sweeney on Sheppey

There were screeching of tyres and car chases in Kent this week – and Jeremy Clarkson wasn't to blame!

Crews from the 2012 film The Sweeney have been in Whiteway Road, Queenborough, all day.

But the Top Gear presenter was also on the Isle of Sheppey – shooting cars at the same time on the same day!

Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has been filming in Sheppey

It's thought the film crews were working separately – both making a beeline for the island for different shoots.

Whiteway Road was blocked off and cars could be seen screeching along the road, filming chase scenes for the Sweeney movie, which stars Ray Winstone and Plan B.

Jeremy Clarkson, who had been filming nearby, turned up later in a silver Range Rover to speak with the crews.

A BBC spokesman said Jeremy was shooting for the next series of Top Gear, but would not give any more away.

The Isle of Sheppey is not a cess pit its just been used as a dumping down for undesirable people and for relocating EU migrants whom have been allowed through into our country through the EU. We need tighter restrictions put on people allowed in to our country as they do in Australia. Sheppey is a nice place to live and if people don't like the place I am sure we won't miss them if they move off.

If Kent is the Garden of England then Sheppey is the cesspool of Kent in every way imaginable.

Blow-up the bridges now! Why is that the island sof Kent, such as Thanet and Sheepey are cesspools of humanity, local and east/central european?
