A convicted pervert who filmed himself
performing sickening sex acts on a young girl has been jailed for
10 years.
James Milner, 69, subjected the girl
to horrific abuse and then sold the video recordings.
Several tapes were found when police
raided his caravan in Sheppey last year. One clip showed
mother-of-three Amanda May also taking part in the abuse.
Maidstone Crown Court heard Milner had
asked the girl if she wanted to be a model and then, on a boat in
Rochester, he directed the naked youngster on how to pose and paid
her £10 to £30.
Prosecutor Jennifer Knight said the
footage also featured a naked Milner looking at the camera as he
molested the youngster.
Milner, of Croydon, South London,
admitted eight charges of sexual assault, seven of making indecent
photographs, six of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity,
four of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, two
of oral rape, two of sexual activity with a child and one of
failing to comply with notification requirements between November
2004 and April 2006.
May, 34, of Woolwich, South East
London, was jailed for three-and-a-half years after admitting
charges that included sexual assault and perverting the course of
justice.
"May can be seen smiling towards the camera and waiting for Milner's directions…” – Jennifer Knight
Milner asked the girl if she wanted to
be a model and then undressed her, said Miss Knight. He videoed her
posing for the camera, putting men’s ties across her body and in
various positions.
May at first told police she had never
been in a relationship with Milner.
But police found footage of her and
Milner "engaged in sexual intimacy" with each other, as well as the
video recording of her abusing the girl as Milner filmed it.
"May can be seen smiling towards the
camera and waiting for Milner’s directions," added Miss Knight.
Throughout the hearing, bespectacled
Milner, who is blind in one eye and suffers from arthritis, sat
with his head bowed.
Milner and May were made subject to a
sexual offences prevention order and their names will be on the sex
offenders’ register.
In an unusual move, they did not
appear together in the dock. The prosecution outlined the case
against them separately and sentence was passed separately.
