Power cable crash closes road

Police accident stock

A road near Manston Airport has been closed after a three-vehicle crash caused power cables to fall this morning.

The B2050 Manston Road was shut in both directions at the Woodchurch Road and Alland Grange Lane junction at about 10am.

The road is expected to remain closed until about 3pm while engineers remove live cables in the road.

Kent Police said there were no reports of serious injuries.

Motorists are warned to expect delays.
