Elderly woman dies in Hythe house fire

An elderly woman has died in a house
fire in Hythe.
A male neighbour, who tried to tackle
the blaze, has been taken to hospital suffering smoke
inhalation.
The woman is named on floral tributes
left at the scene as Sheila.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were
called to a property in North Road at about 9am.
The cause of the fire, which is not
thought to be suspicious, is being investigated by fire
investigators and Kent Police.
