Man dies after car hits tree

A man has died after a car
crash near Ashford this morning.
The man, who is understood to be
in his 60s,
was pronouced dead after the
Citreon Xsara he was driving hit a tree in High Halden.
No other vehicle was involved in the
crash, in Plurenden
Road.
Kent Police was called at about 10.40am and officers attended
with other emergency services.
Anyone who witnessed the car being driven before the collision
is urged to phone PC
