Some shared-ownership homes are among the properties now
available at St Leonard's, a collection of new properties off
Portland Road in Hythe.
The properties are built in and around the former Hythe St
Leonard's junior school.
As part of the scheme, the old Victorian school building has new
life as a number of maisonettes, while architects have got to work
creating newly-built homes on other parts of the site.
Homes now available start at £140,000 and include one and
two-bedroom flats and a two and three-bedroom maisonette.
Six of the properties are being made available on a
shared-ownership basis which would allow a buyer to move into one
of the £140,000 one-bedroom flats for £35,000.
The development is close to Hythe town centre and is handy for
walks along the seafront.
