Land Rover's latest model is a black and white choice

Land Rover has announced the introduction of two special edition
models to its Freelander 2 range for 2010.
Boasting a new, lower, entry-level price of £19,495, the "White
& Black" models will be available in Alaska White and Santorini
Black exterior paint colours only.
Inside, Land Rover says the models will be generously equipped
despite the sub-£20,000 price. Both models will feature an Ebony
cloth interior, keyless starter button, tinted rear windows,
17-inch alloy wheels and load space cover.
Powered by Land Rover's 2.2-litre diesel unit with a six-speed
manual gearbox, the White & Black models will also use the new
intelligent stop-start system, meaning potential fuel economy
of 42.2mpg combined.
"With a price less than £20,000 and the economical yet powerful
diesel engine, the Freelander 2 White & Black special editions
represent exceptional value for money in the compact SUV sector,"
said John Edwards, Land Rover UK managing director.
"Couple this with the vehicle's enhanced styling and
specification, the models not only offer the Freelander 2's
trademark ever-ready versatility, but are pleasing to the pocket
and to the discerning eye."
The special edition models will be on sale from January
2010.
