Two car accident leads to road closure on Medway City Estate

Police at scene of accident in Sir Thomas Longley Road on the Medway City Estate

Traffic chaos ensued on the Medway City Estate in Strood this afternoon after a two car crash

The accident, involving a silver Range Rover and a red Renault Clio occured at around 1.10pm on Sir Thomas Longley Road.

Two fire crews were at the scene along with two ambulances and a police van. There are no reports of serious injury.

By 1.30pm traffic leaving the estate was allowed to pass the scene but a police block was put in place for motorists driving into the estate.

The road reopened shortly before 2pm.
