Gillingham's on-loan midfielder Josh Wright is thrilled to be
part of the Wembley experience and doesn’t mind being the unnoticed
figure in the team.
Wright (pictured right) takes on the defensive midfield duties
in manager Mark Stimson’s 4-3-3 formation and he is glad to be
playing such a vital role.
He said: "The role I play can go unnoticed unless you are
involved in football, but footballing people can see what a big
role it is, as you are working on the defensive and the attacking
play."
Wright
has made seven
appearances since joining on loan from Charlton and the team have
been on a good run while he has been involved.
"I’m only 19 and so still very young and to be playing at
Wembley is something I’ll be very proud of.
"Ever since we’ve qualified for the final it’s been an exciting
time.
"It’s a game I’ve been really looking forward to it and it’s
something I’m thinking about day and night."
