Striker Jacob Erskine has returned to Gillingham after Bromley
declined to extend his loan spell.
The 20-year-old (pictured) was set to stay with the Blue Square
South side for a second month but Gills boss Mark Stimson has
revealed that the player is now heading back.
Stimson said: "Jacob Erskine is coming back because of financial
reasons at Bromley."
Erskine made a surprise move to Gillingham from Bromley in early
August after impressing Stimson in a pre-season friendly
between the two sides. He has made six appearances for the
Gills.
Erskine's return could signal a move out of the club on loan for
striker Andy Pugh, who is being monitored by a local Blue Square
South side.
