Dartford went five points clear at the top of the Ryman League
Premier Division with a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Hendon.
The Darts missed a first half penalty when
Adam Flanagan’s spot-kick was saved and had another penalty appeal
ignored when Rob Haworth went down, with the referee instead opting
to book the player for diving.
The only goal of the first half came after 42
minutes when Haworth ran through and beat the keeper.
It was one-way traffic after the break with
Lee Burns adding the second for Dartford after 49
minutes.
Jay May’s (pictured) introduction from he
substitute bench paid immediate dividends with the striker adding
two further goals.
It was left to Lee Noble to complete the rout
against their previously unbeaten opponents with final goal for
Tony Burman’s side after 90 minutes.
