Stanley Aborah gets extended Gillingham deal

Gillingham have extended Stanley Aborah’s contract for a
further month.
The midfielder, who progressed through the world-famous Ajax
youth academy, signed an initial one-month contract at the start of
the season but a thigh injury has ruled him out of action and he
has yet to kick a ball in a meaningful game for the Gills.
Aborah impressed throughout pre-season and manager Andy
Hessenthaler feels his input could be vital in sticky
situations.
"Someone like him on Saturday (against Lincoln) might have been
key to unlocking the door," Hessenthaler said.
"He has quality but we know what the key is at home. We need to
play at a lot higher tempo from start to finish and maybe play a
little more forcefully in respect of getting the ball from back to
front a little bit quicker."
