Dartford defender Jamie Coyle joins Welling United

Defender Jamie Coyle has signed a one-year deal with Welling.

Coyle, pictured, who was part of Dartford's Ryman League Premier Division squad last season, penned a deal on Friday afternoon at Park View Road.

Welling boss Jamie Day has expected Coyle to sign at the start of next week but the deal was completed earlier than anticipated.

"I'm delighted to have Jamie on board," said Day. "I'm sure he'll prove a great signing for the club."

Day will now turn his attentions to his next target in the transfer market, an unnamed midfielder with Blue Square South experience although he does face competiton for his signature.
